arent best friends the BEST?!

back in january i made a trip out to rochester, mn to visit my best friends richard and dana. these two have been the best friends i have ever had...with the exception of my husband of course! they have been there for me through some of the hardest times in my life...and have also been apart of the happiest days of my life! 3 years ago i was a bridesmaid and sang in their wedding...and 2 years later dana was my maid of honor! these two are so important to me, and even though its hard to live this far away, we still make a way to stay close and connected. i just hope i can be as good a friend to them as they have been to me over the years!! i love you guys :)

ok so now about my trip...

of course we had to take some time out to play a little nintendo wii. if you havent played wii sports, you are missing out on some quality fun! remember when you were a kid, and you would move the controller, even though it had no effect on your playing? well now it does...and look how fun it is...

dana and alycia, my sister-in-law, played bowling (is it considered "playing" bowling if its a video game? yeah...i say it is :)

richard and i chose tennis as our wii sport of choice

after spending some time down at richard and danas house...dana and i went up to the cities to visit my youngest brother, randol. since he was still living in mn at the time, and i live here in phoenix, i didnt get to see him much except holidays and when i made a trip up there. it was good to see him...and of course we had to take a group photo!!

the actual reason i went to mn was for the justin timberlake concert. dont laugh...you know you like him too! dana and i bought tickets for the justin show in mn, and the christina show in phoenix. it was perfect...we didnt have to find anyone to go to the concerts with AND we both got to have a vacation!

we met up with my sister in law, alycia, before the show, so we could all ride together.

i shot this with my point and shoot using the digital zoom, which i normally never use, but it was the only way to get this close. it actually came out pretty good considering!!

before i left we had to eat at my favorite restaurant, Green Mill! they have the most delicious coconut chicken salad...mmmmm...wish i could have it RIGHT NOW!

this was my time to take some fun group pics of the three of us...dont we look fun?!

as you can see it started to snow...so naturally it had to start to blizzard on our way to the airport! whats a trip to mn in the winter without a possible delayed or cancelled flight? but never fear...it didnt get me down...i had been wishing for snow the whole trip! i just wished it was timed a little better!
